Shashi began her journey at Aura Dental as a Dental Hygienist, having graduated from The University of Edinburgh, and moved from one capital city to another, to pursue her dream of working in London. Her thirst to learn more led her to complete Graduate entry Dentistry, whilst simultaneously working at Aura as a hygienist.
Shashi ranked in the top 5% of UK dental students at national recruitment and subsequently gained a seat on the highly prestigious and incredibly competitive Central London Scheme, where she completed her foundation training, gaining a wealth of theoretical and clinical experience.
Shashi is a friendly, calm and motivated Dentist, who enjoys all aspects of general dentistry, especially treating anxious patients and being able to put them at ease. Her dedication to providing the best level of care, through continually learning, is what motivates her to not only look after patients teeth by transforming smiles, but their overall well-being by improving their self confidence in a warm and calming environment.
Outside of dentistry, you can find Shashi doing all things arts & crafts, playing the piano, dabbling in cricket and travelling! Shashi is also a semi-professional Bhangra Dancer, so you can often find her dancing either on stage or in the practice!
