Straighter teeth, more quickly
If you grew up with slightly wonky teeth and have always wished you had straightened them when you were younger, don’t worry, it’s not too late. Increasing numbers of adults are having their teeth straightened with braces in North West London. With straighter teeth, you can enhance the aesthetics of your smile, while also improving your dental health.
Leave the past behind
Many adults want straighter teeth, but without the lengthy treatment times, discomfort and embarrassment of traditional ‘train track’ braces. Fortunately, these days such heavy-duty treatments are only needed for people with serious bite problems to correct. Alternative treatments are now available for the many people who have perfect bites but whose teeth grew through wonkily. It is these people that most of the new braces systems are aimed at.
At Aura Dental, we offer various braces in North West London, including:
Inman Aligner
This braces system is designed to realign the front teeth only. Nickel titanium coil springs power two aligner bows that gently oppose each other, guiding the teeth into their new positions. These gentle forces are active over a very large range of movement, which is why the Inman Aligner works so quickly. Worn as prescribed, it can straighten your teeth in just6 to 18 weeks. It is a removable appliance, so you can take it out for eating and cleaning.
Six Month Smiles
This is a fixed bracket and wire system, with the added plus of using clear brackets and tooth-coloured wires that are barely visible. As the name suggests, this braces system can realign teeth in an average of 6 months.
Invisible braces
If you’d rather not do the wire options, invisible braces are custom-made tight-fitting trays rather like mouth guards. You wear a series of them, each for 2 weeks. Each one gradually shifts your teeth towards their desired positions.
