For dental implants, we have a dentist St John’s Wood who’s here for you
Let’s not beat about the bush: you could have missing teeth for a variety of reasons. Whether you have missing teeth due to poor oral hygiene, smoking, medication, illness, or an unfortunate accident, the result will be the same: missing teeth are not aesthetically pleasing and can increase your risk of further oral health problems due to exposure to more bacteria. At Aura Dental, we have a treatment that could be the next best thing to having natural teeth, and our dentist St John’s Wood will be able to advise you if it is a suitable treatment for you when you book a consultation to discuss the treatment options. At Aura Dental, we have been finalists in several Private Dentistry Awards and The Dentistry Awards too. Choosing to come to our friendly, forward-thinking practice that truly cares about you as an individual could be the best thing you ever do for your mouth. We even open on Saturdays to ensure you have a chance to see us!
Welcome to dental implants!
If you haven’t heard of dental implants, then you will wonder why when you realise how convenient they are for replacing missing teeth. Your natural teeth have two parts: the part you can see and the root that is under your gums and attached to your jawbone. When you lose one or more of your teeth, our dentist St John’s Wood at Aura Dental can now treat you using dental implants, which are small screws that replicate the missing tooth’s root. We will firmly fix your implant into your jawbone; the tissue will heal around the screws, so they won’t go anywhere. This then allows us to attach replacement teeth. You can have crowns, bridges or dentures, depending on the number of teeth you need to replace. Whatever option is right for you, with all of them, there will be no requirement to remove them at night, and you won’t have to avoid eating any food that you think could loosen them because they shouldn’t be going anywhere! It’s a brave new world!
Smile naturally
The obvious benefit of dental implants is the fact that your teeth will look completely natural, so nobody should realise that you have replacement teeth. What’s more, they shouldn’t loosen and give the game away! You could even find that your replacement teeth make you look younger as well. If your face has become drawn from having missing teeth, replacing them gives your face the required structure to make it look more youthful again. It’s definitely a great bonus for having dental implants! Of course, it’s not all just about appearances; by replacing your missing teeth, you can protect the teeth and gums that were left from being overexposed to bacteria and developing more issues.
We’re here for you!
Whether you want to see our friendly team during a lunch break or to pop in at the weekend, we have flexible appointment times to suit you, and we’re ready to meet you and get your personalised treatment plan in motion. We will discuss your concerns, examine you and explain fully what the options are so that you can make an informed decision about what you want to do. Why wait? We’re here now!

We genuinely care about your well-being and don’t want to see you going through treatment that could have been avoided!
One of the treatments that is highly popular for those who wish to change the appearance of their teeth is Invisalign. We use an iTero digital scan to get the measurements of your mouth for your aligners to be made bespoke for you. We can also use this to show you an animation of what your teeth will look like after your treatment has been completed, so you will be able to imagine from the outset just how great your smile is going to be. It’s just one of the treatments that patients love!
How does Invisalign work, and what’s it for?
Aligners are an alternative to fixed metal braces, and they address alignment issues such as crossbite, crowded teeth, gapped teeth, or over or underbites. Made of transparent plastic, aligners sit over the teeth just like streamlined gum shields and should be really pleasant to wear once you get used to the initial pressure that the aligners apply to push your teeth into the correct positions. As they are being worn, the aligners should be virtually invisible to other people, giving you the confidence to carry on with life! You could see results in as little as 6 to 18 months. You will be required to change between different aligners every couple of weeks, and we will provide you with enough to last you until your next checkup, normally every 6 weeks.
Any other reasons to love Invisalign?
Patients often tell us that they love the flexibility that wearing Invisalign’s aligners affords them. This is because they can take them out of their mouth for up to a couple of hours each day as directed by our dentist St John’s Wood here at Aura Dental. This should allow you to have them out when you are dining, so you won’t need to worry about avoiding any food that could damage the aligners. Also, you can keep them out while you clean your teeth and floss properly – we know how much you love to do that, after all! By doing so, you will be protecting your teeth and gums from developing any oral health issues. After this, you should also have some time left to keep them out while you do an activity such as dancing the cha, cha, cha, darrrrling! Whatever you decide to do, Invisalign allows you to decide!
We’re ready when you are!
If you would like to find out more about our excellent treatment at a time that’s convenient for you, why not contact us to discuss your treatment options? We can examine your mouth and discuss what would be suitable for your specific needs. We treat the whole family, so why not bring the whole gang and get yourself and your family on the right dental track?!
Invisalign St John’s Wood: bringing back happiness!
When you see your reflection, do you feel down about your misaligned teeth? Do you find yourself avoiding smiling for photographs, or do you sigh wistfully when you look at photographs in a magazine? At Aura Dental, we don’t want you to feel like you’re missing out on a wonderful smile. We have Invisalign St John’s Wood that can put a beautiful smile on your face in just 6 to 18 months, on average. We believe that getting the smile you want doesn’t have to be difficult; that’s why we love this treatment for mild to moderate alignment issues. Invisalign St John’s Wood consists of aligners that must be worn over the teeth and may be removed for a couple of hours every day, so you can have the flexibility of choice about when you wear them. What’s more, you won’t have to worry about other people knowing that you have anything in your mouth, as they should be virtually invisible. Yes, you did read that correctly!
How are Invisalign’s aligners discreet?
At Aura Dental, we use the latest technology to digitally scan your mouth and get the measurements for your aligners to be manufactured. Once you receive them, you will see that they are made of transparent plastic material. When you place the aligners over your teeth, only your teeth should be noticeable. The aligners then apply pressure to the teeth to push them into the targeted position. You will need to change between your aligners every couple of weeks, and we will give you enough to last 6 weeks before you have to attend a check-up and receive more.
The benefits of Invisalign
If you are considering Invisalign St John’s Wood, there are many reasons why you should! Opting for removable aligners means you won’t need to worry about avoiding any foods that could damage them as you won’t have them in your mouth whilst eating. What’s more, you should also be able to look after your teeth properly as you won’t have anything in your mouth to stop you from cleaning your teeth efficiently. The convenience of Invisalign shouldn’t be underestimated, especially when you should still have time to take the aligners out for playing sports or heading into an important meeting. Invisalign also has a range specifically for teenagers, so if your child isn’t keen on fixed visible braces, Invisalign could be the alternative solution that will make them happy and get them that all-important smile!
Of course, realigning your teeth isn’t just about aesthetics. Having aligned teeth makes it easier to speak, chew your food and clean your teeth properly. There are so many reasons to feel happy if you can have Invisalign!
Let’s find happiness together!
For more information about Invisalign and the other discreet treatment options that we offer, all you need to do is book a consultation, where we can examine you and discuss your concerns about your smile. We will then advise you about what treatment options would be suitable and explain them to you so that you can make an informed decision. If Invisalign is a treatment option on the table, we look forward to getting you a smile you will love!
When the going gets tough, there’s always Invisalign St John’s Wood!
We’ve got something to tell you; we’ve got news for you! If you have misaligned teeth, you can discreetly address the issue using Invisalign St John’s Wood, here at Aura Dental. Invisalign St John’s Wood is a treatment we offer patients with mild to moderate issues, such as crossbites, crowded or gapped teeth and over or underbites. We understand that many patients would prefer it if other people didn’t see that they had anything in their mouths, and with Invisalign, you should achieve this. You may be wondering how that’s possible, but basically, Invisalign is a system that has clear aligners, so when they are placed over your teeth, only your smile should be noticeable to others. Invisalign is a gift of a treatment, and it certainly keeps on giving!
How do aligners work?
We make your aligners bespoke for your mouth. Using iTero technology, we can scan your mouth to obtain the measurements we require to have your aligners custom-made. From this, we can also show you an animation of how wonderful your teeth will look once your treatment is completed, which should give you plenty to focus on whilst you actually have your treatment. When you get your aligners and wear them over your teeth, each aligner will apply a different amount of pressure to push your teeth into the targeted position over approximately 6 to 18 months. You will be required to change between aligners every couple of weeks, and we will provide you with enough for 6 weeks before we will ask you to come in for a checkup.
Why Invisalign?
If you’re wondering what all the fuss is about, we can explain! Invisalign St John’s Wood offers a discreet and convenient method of realigning your teeth. What’s more, you should find that removing the aligners for a couple of hours every day allows you the freedom to choose when you are going to wear them. You will need to take them out while you eat and clean your teeth, however, you should still have time to choose whether or not you want to wear them while you see friends, hit the shops, or play the bass guitar – you choose! Invisalign is a convenient treatment, and you shouldn’t need to worry about other people knowing what you’re doing if you choose not to tell them, thanks to the aligner’s discreet appearance.
Another benefit of Invisalign is the fact that realigning your smile should enable you to address any speech difficulties you may have had, as well as chewing issues. Aligning your teeth should also make them easier to keep clean and healthy. If you’re considering having this treatment, remember that it’s suitable for adults and teenagers; there is a special range for teens!
It’s time to discover Invisalign

A tailored treatment plan for you
We will thoroughly examine your teeth and gums to make sure that there are no underlying dental health issues. We will also perform a specialised three-dimensional scan of your mouth to help us not only assess your gum and bone health more effectively but also create a digital image of your mouth that can be manipulated to see how Invisalign can transform your smile. If you are happy with the potential results, the software can design a sequence of custom-made Invisalign that will work to help you achieve the final result. The software will tell us exactly how many aligners you need in order to move your teeth into a neater formation, allowing us to inform you of the treatment duration and see exactly which positions your teeth will go through to achieve the final transformation.
If you are happy with the treatment plan, then we can order your series of aligners, and within a few weeks, you can begin the treatment process. We will invite you back to our practice for your initial fitting. You may need small attachments to be placed on your teeth for the aligners to fit comfortably and correctly, and then you can continue the rest of the process within the comfort of your own home.
Invisalign aligners are clear; therefore, they are very discreet and almost invisible when they are worn; this is an easy, convenient and comfortable method of straightening your teeth. Most patients report that they get accustomed to wearing the aligners within the first 24 hours, and the aligners do not impact their daily habits or activities. Speak to us at Aura Dental today to find out more about Invisalign and how you can transform your smile at your convenience.
Looking after your teeth with our dentist St John’s Wood
It is important that you visit our dentist St John’s Wood regularly with your family, young and old, to make sure that you all have clean teeth and strong gums that are free of decay and disease. Regular appointments will help our dentist St John’s Wood detect any dental issues early on and treat them quickly and successfully before they cause further complications and without needing extensive or expensive restorative care.
Reduce plaque and tartar in your mouth
By visiting our dentist St John’s Wood at least once every six months, you can minimise the development of plaque and tartar in your mouth, both of which are the main causes of tooth decay and disease. Plaque builds up on the surface of your teeth and hardens to become tartar, and although plaque can be removed with effective brushing, tartar has to be removed professionally. If you do not visit our dentist St John’s Wood on a regular basis, then tartar remains on your teeth, and this causes tooth decay and gum disease. If left unaddressed, tooth decay and gum disease can develop and cause irreversible damage to your teeth. In the end, your tooth will either fall out of its own accord or need to be extracted. Therefore, it is better that you and your family visit our dentist on a regular basis and let us help you maintain happy and healthy smiles all around.
Dental anxiety and dental phobia with our dentist

This model can then be manipulated to show you how different cosmetic treatment plants can improve your smile. We will identify the factors affecting the appearance of your teeth, and together, we can decide which treatment is suitable for you.
If you are suffering from misaligned or crooked teeth, you can find out about the different teeth-straightening options that are available from us.
Invisalign
Invisalign is a modern method of straightening teeth and a very popular treatment option that allows you to transform your smile with clear, removable braces at your convenience and discretion. It is an excellent alternative to traditional metal braces for children, teenagers and adults. With Invisalign, you can improve your smile without having to draw unwanted attention to your mouth. It is great for those suffering from mild or moderate orthodontic issues.
Inman Aligner
Another effective method of straightening teeth is with the Inman Aligner. The Inman Aligner is a revolutionary orthodontic treatment that focuses on straightening the front teeth quickly and effectively. The Inman Aligner consists of a lingual coil spring that puts pressure on the teeth that need repositioning and an aligner that reverses the same pressure. Both forces work together to squeeze the teeth into a neater alignment. Speak to our dentist and find out more about The Inman Aligner; a quick and effective method of straightening your front teeth and improving the appearance of your smile.
Damon
Damon braces are another effective method of straightening teeth with our dentist. Damon braces are similar to traditional orthodontic braces, except they work using a self-ligating system to connect the archwires to the brackets instead of elastic ties, which are common with traditional braces. Damon braces rely on a patented slide mechanism, and the wires move freely, so there is less friction making it a more comfortable treatment option. Speak to our dentist today and find out more about these different types of braces and let us help you decide which is the most suitable option for you.
What can Invisalign St John’s Wood do for you?
If you’ve heard of Invisalign St John’s Wood, but you’re not sure of what it is, then here at Aura Dental, we can let you in on the secret! Invisalign is a treatment used for addressing mild to moderate alignment issues. Whether you have a crossbite, crowded teeth, gapped teeth, or an under or overbite, Invisalign could be the treatment you need to get your smile looking and functioning well.
How does Invisalign work?
Invisalign St John’s Wood consists of aligners that sit over the teeth and are made of plastic, so they shouldn’t be noticeable when you are wearing them. Every week, you must change to a new aligner, and we will provide you with enough to last for six weeks, after which you will need to come to our clinic for a checkup and to receive more sets of aligners. Every aligner applies a certain amount of pressure to the teeth to push them into the desired positions. Treatment can take as little as 6 to 18 months to achieve the desired results. In fact, we can show you an animation of how your teeth will actually look at the start of the treatment, so you can know what you’ll be working towards. With iTero technology, we can digitally scan your mouth to get the measurements for your aligners to be made, and it is from these measurements that we can generate images of how great your smile will be by the end of the treatment!
Why should I choose Invisalign?
If you’re feeling a little worried about people seeing you wearing something in your mouth during your treatment, with Invisalign, you shouldn’t have to worry about that since the aligners are extremely discreet. Moreover, they should also be comfortable to wear as they will be custom-made for your mouth. You can also remove your aligners for up to 2 hours a day, enabling you to eat and drink as normal, and you won’t have to avoid any foods that are hard or chewy, for example. You will also be able to maintain high levels of oral hygiene as you will be able to brush and floss as normal, and you can clean your teeth more efficiently once your teeth are properly aligned. If you have experienced any jaw pain, chewing issues or speech difficulties as a result of your misaligned teeth, these could also be resolved with your Invisalign St John’s Wood treatment.

Enlighten
At Aura Dental, we offer teeth whitening with Enlighten, and we use this product because it guarantees a Vita Shade B1 for all patients. With Enlighten’s Evolution professional whitening, we can achieve lighter teeth by up to 16 shades lighter.
How does Enlighten work?
For patients who need to lighten their teeth due to stains caused by coffee, red wine or smoking, we will first provide a special toothpaste that prepares teeth for the Enlighten treatment. This toothpaste contains properties that are found in the enamel of your teeth, and it reduces tooth sensitivity and helps the whitening process to be successful.
Once you have used your toothpaste, we will then get custom-made trays manufactured for your mouth. We will need to take impressions and send these away for the trays to be made to fit you. Once we receive your trays, we will give them and the whitening gel to you to take home with you. You will put the gel into the trays and wear them overnight every night for a fortnight. After the two weeks, you will then have a final 40-minute treatment at our clinic to get the final boost to your fabulous results. We will then give you more gel to use for maintenance at home when you feel you need another boost every now and again as well.
Does teeth whitening hurt?
The purpose of the special toothpaste that we provide you with is to minimise any tooth sensitivity, so you shouldn’t experience pain. We also provide you with the exact amount of gel you need to put in your trays each night, so there is no need to worry about it going anywhere it shouldn’t!
Is there anything else I need to know?
To find out more about teeth whitening and any other treatments we offer, book an initial consultation with us, and we can discuss your concerns. We will then be able to advise you on how we can help after examining your mouth. You can ask questions about all the treatment options that are suitable for you so that you can decide the right way forward according to your preferences.
If you do decide to get your teeth lightened with Enlighten, our dentist St John’s Wood looks forward to making you smile your best smile, and you shouldn’t need to look for another dentist again.
